Rolling out new ideas and trends in design as well as technology, Kerala Innovation Week will begin this Sunday, lending no less than 5,000 buffs from across the country a platform for direct interaction with experts to learn more about collaborative startup ecosystem that aims to boost entrepreneurship in the state.
Billed as India’s largest design, technology and maker fest, the May 22-28 event by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) will begin with a cycle safari at 6 a.m. Starting from Kerala Technology Innovation Zone at Kalamassery, the expedition will head for the nearby Infopark before returning to the point of origin.
The delegates include 40-plus speakers, close to 30 stakeholders and 25-odd innovative idea communities, participating along with more than 5,000 innovators in a wide range of programmes totalling 20. To book tickets and FOR details, visit: https://iwkerala.org/, organisers said.
The concluding day (May 28) will host a variety exhibition besides design-related demonstrations for young entrepreneurs. The other highlights include design and maker fest, technology workshop, Hackathon, women in tech, exhibition of products and an investor café, besides music show and food festival.
The programme, which is being conducted in association with Global Shapers Community, Kochi, is an initiative of World Economic Forum. The event comes as part of the state government’s effort to propel the economy with new-age technology.
KSUM is the nodal agency of the Kerala government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
