

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A high-level delegation from Switzerland-based IT and telecommunications industry service provider TelcoTech Solutions Hub visited Technopark here today, seeking to leverage the state’s ecosystem as an ideal location to expand their business opportunities.
During the visit, TelcoTech Solutions Hub Chairman Wilhelm Pfeifer interacted with Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd.), CEO of Technopark.
Impressed by the vibrant ecosystem, Pfeifer, whose company has its presence in Technopark, sought the possibility of acquiring more space for the company in Technopark to enable its global IT and ITeS services.
During his detailed presentation on the salient features of the state IT ecosystem and achievements of Technopark, Col Nair (Retd.) said the state boasts of a government-supported IT ecosystem, and in the capital city, one can see all stakeholders working together, giving an impetus to the ecosystem.
Noting that the state capital city has all the ingredients needed for investors, the CEO said the major strengths of the city are infrastructure on par with global standards, availability of talent pool and social fabric like hospitals and schools, besides seamless connectivity.
“We give prominence to the blend of technology with ecology. The ecosystem is also ideal for setting up Global Capability Centres (GCCs),” he said.
Col Nair (Retd.) added that the companies in Technopark are the biggest ambassadors of the state’s IT ecosystem.
