CUSAT The School of Engineering Library in association with CIRM Lab will organize a two-day national workshop on D Space open source software for building digital libraries and institutional repositories on 23 rd and 24 th November, 2019.
Library professionals and students of library science can attend. Classes will be handled by Prof. G Santhosh Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science, Dr Surendran Cherukodan, Assistant Librarian, SOE, Sameer Mohammed Thahir and Sahil Athrij. D Space is widely used by Universities and colleges across the globe. CUSAT has also built a digital library using D Space ( http://dspace.cusat.ac.in ) which contains ten thousand digital items including previous question papers, old issues of Cochin Law Review of the School of Legal Studies, Anuseelan, a journal published by Hindi Department and news items.
