Powerhouse will be a global execution engine room and headquarters designed to compress the cycle from concept to market
HYDERABAD:
EBG Group, a multi-sector conglomerate driving innovation across wellness, mobility, technology, realty, and lifestyle, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art 400-seater EBG Powerhouse spread across 22,000 sq. ft at Dallas Centre, Hyderabad, officially designating the city as its global headquarters. The Group has committed USD 7 million over the next two years toward establishing and operating the Powerhouse, including investment in advanced infrastructure and talent. With a mission to support 5,000+ startups in emerging markets and accelerate sustainable innovation worldwide, EBG has brought 30+ brands under one roof to sharpen its innovation-to-execution velocity.
Built on the belief that EBG – ‘Empowering a Better Globe’ – exists to uplift the lives of 8 billion people, the company reinforces its identity as a global citizen born from discomfort and committed to solving meaningful problems from India, rather than relocating to global hubs. Speaking about the EBG Powerhouse, Dr. Irfan Khan, Chairman & Founder, EBG Group, said, “What sets the centre apart is its suite of integrated ‘execution studios’ and multi-brand work zones, enabling EV, wellness, & hospitality/realty, prefab, education, and other verticals to collaborate seamlessly. Facilities include digital and content production labs, podcast and video studios, brand war-rooms, design-sprint rooms, franchise closing bays, partner demo zones, AI/automation labs, VC-grade hybrid suites, quiet focus rooms, and wellness spaces. A central Command Desk provides real-time visibility into dashboards, compliance, and partner SLAs, creating a unified control tower for global operations.”
Conceived as EBG’s global execution engine room and headquarters, the Powerhouse is designed to compress the cycle from concept to market, strengthen partner success worldwide, and power advanced digital, design, and content creation. The centre will scale from an initial 350 new hires in Hyderabad to 3,000 employees globally over the next year, building on EBG Group’s current workforce of 311 employees. Supported by 11 specialized HR agencies, this expansion is expected to generate hundreds of indirect jobs across franchise networks, supply chains, and partner-led ecosystems.
The centre aligns with EBG Group’s long-term financial roadmap, focusing on scalable innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability-driven growth. Sustainability remains central to this roadmap, with the facility incorporating energy-efficient systems, natural-light planning, indoor plantscaping, and waste-management protocols designed to deliver significant energy savings and long-term environmental impact reduction.
The workspace reflects EBG’s core values of transparency and meritocracy, with open floor plans, cross-team pods, simple playbooks, daily 7 pm operating updates, weekly performance rhythms, and
“Leader Labs” reinforces a culture of accountability, creativity, and hands-on leadership development. “Hyderabad’s deep talent pool, thriving tech/startup ecosystem, and strong connectivity make it the ideal base for EBG’s global expansion plans. As the company’s global HQ and Centre of Excellence, the Powerhouse will anchor brand building, franchise development, digital content, supply-chain coordination, and investor/partner relations,” Dr. Irfan added.
The Powerhouse represents a long-term capability-building investment, covering lease, interiors, cutting-edge technology, and sustainability systems. Designed for speed and cross-functional synergy, the space transforms EBG’s Hyderabad presence into a high-velocity operating system where ideas can be conceived in the morning, prototyped by evening, and scaled within weeks.
Hybrid collaboration rooms and always-on digital stacks will support global training, partner closings, virtual launch rooms, and investor demo days across time zones. With phased hiring underway, the Powerhouse will fuel growth across all sectors. Through unified collaboration and content infrastructure, every new partner will begin at version 2.0 – not 0.1 – accelerating outcomes and ensuring consistent brand excellence globally.
