Equal Rights Inevitability of Democracy: Speaker Sreeramakrishnan

“Ensuring equal rights to all citizen is the inevitable obligation of democracy” opined Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly Sreeramakrishnan while inaugurating the one day orientation programme for first year SC/ST (UG/PG) students organized by the Equal Opportunity Cell of CUSAT.
He added that constitution is the foundation of our democracy and that Dr. Ambedkar who drafted it had survived infinite challenges and suppression is a great model before us. Delivering the key note address at the function, CUSAT VC Dr, J. Letha said that all students can make achievements through hard work and that bringing each and every student into the mainstream is one of the main objectives of the University.
Dr. R. Sasidharan (Syndicate Member) presided and Dr. N. Chandramohanakumar (Syndicate Member), Dr. M.R.Radhakrishna Panicker (Principal, SOE ), Dr. Sasi Gopalan (Co-ordinator, EOC) and Dr. M. Kailasnath spoke at the function. The orientation classes were led by Rahim Appanchira, Dr. G. Madhu, Dr. P.K. Baby, M.B Santhosh Kumar, Dr. K.K. Saju, Dr. D. Rajeev, Dr. Rajesh. P. Nair and Dr. M. Kailasnath.
