Voting has begun for the eighth edition of the Srishti Sahithyotsavam organized by Prathidhwani, an IT workers’ welfare organization in Kerala, to find creative talents in Kerala’s techies from Technopark, Infopark, and Cyberpark. During this Covid period, Prathidhwani’s work to capture writing and drawing has received an enthusiastic response from the IT staff.
The Srishti articles to find the best writers among the IT staff in Kerala is available at https://prathidhwani.org/srishti/2021. Readers can register to vote via the link. There are 183 entries for voting by IT staff from over 100 IT companies. There are 64 Malayalam short stories, 38 Malayalam poems, nine Malayalam articles, 25 English short stories, 38 English poems, and nine English articles.
The works are also evaluated by an expert jury of eminent personalities from the field of art and literature. The first three places in each category will be awarded cash prizes and other rewards. The Srishti Kala Sahitya Utsav, organized by Prathidhwani in previous years, received an enthusiastic response from the techies. Prominent writers like V. Madhusoodanan Nair in 2014, Subhash Chandran in 2015, Ezhacherry Ramachandran in 2016, Benjamin in 2017, Kureepuzha Sreekumar, and K.R Meera in 2018, Santhosh Echikkanam in 2019, and K. Satchidanandan in 2020 were the chief guests who presented prizes and certificates to the winners. More than 3,000 works by techies have been exhibited.
