Finance Minister Dr. T.M. Thomas Isaac will inaugurate the building of Centre for Budget Studies of Cochin University of Science and Technology at 3pm on 27 th August 2019 at the mini hall, Science Seminar complex.
The new building near the Centre for Science-in- Society is well equipped for the activities of the centre. Vice Chancellor Dr. K.N Madhusoodanan will preside over the inaugural function. V.K Ebrahimkunju M.L.A, M. Swaraj M.LA, Eldho Abraham M.L.A, Dr. P.G. Sankaran, Pro- Vice Chancellor, Dr. K. Ajitha, Registrar and Dr. M.K sukumaran Nair will speak. The key functions of the Centre for Budget Studies are teaching, research and community outreach in its designated domains of activities comprising mainly of budgetary policies and practices in Indian states and local self-governments.
