Gadre Gaspar Dias Open 2020 is set to begin with the Inaugural match on 24 th January. The clube received over 250 entries from across 8 categories. The tournament organized by Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Goa’s first tennis club in partnership with Goa State Tennis Association (GSTA) and Gadre Premium Seafood received an increase in entries as compared to the previous edition.
The nine day tournament will include eight categories – Under 12 (Girls and Boys), Under 16 (Girls and Boys), Men’s Singles, Ladies Singles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Veteran Singles and Veteran Doubles. Prizes collectively amounting to Rs 88,000 will be awarded to winners in the various categories.
The tournament which is an annual fixture has received over 250 entries and will begin today, 24 th January, 2020. The competition will witness some of the best players from Goa and across India battle it out on the court once again as tennis fans will be entertained at the fifth edition this year. Matches will be scheduled between 7.00am and 10.00am in the morning and between 4.00pm and 10.00pm in the evening.
