  • Helo Kicks Off New Innings with ArMrsIndia MTV BoX Cricket League

    NEW DELHI:
    Helo, India’s leading social media platform, is set to hit the pitch as it partners with ArMrsIndia MTV Box Cricket League (BCL) 2019, as their exclusive digital media partner.

    The highly-anticipated indoor cricket event produced by Balaji Telefilms brings the who’s who of the Indian television industry under one roof, with six celebrity teams battling it out for the grand trophy.

    With this partnership, Helo will be the ultimate online infotainment destination, during the MTV BCL Season 4 giving users their daily dose of entertainment. Helo is set to be the go-to platform providing fans all the latest exciting news and updates around BCL, along with the day-to-day activities of participating celebrity contestants.

    “If there’s one thing that brings all Indians together, it’s cricket. We’re thrilled to partner with BCL to bring the perfect blend of cricket and entertainment with celebrities who are widely followed by Indians across the globe. Our platform, available in 14 Indian languages, not only takes BCL into deep corners of the country but also to desis worldwide,” said Shyamanga Barooah, Head of Content Operations, Helo.

    Ekta Kapoor, the content czarina of Indian Television and owner of MTV BCL said, “Today’s social media platforms are the most omnipresent form of media, in some places, it’s relaxed TV sets for content consumption! By collaborating with Helo, India’s biggest celebrities become more real, relatable and accessible to a wider audience.”

    Adding his insights, Anand Mishra, Conceptualizer-BCL said, “Owing to the participation of around 150 celebrities in BCL, we feel that there’s scope of reaching a wider audience in different parts of the country. Our partnership with Helo marks the first time BCL has partnered with any social media platform. We are looking forward to bringing the show to more fans through a platform which connects stars, cricket and fans from grassroots to global Indians.”

    Apart from the daily dose of entertainment, Helo users will also have access to exclusive behind-the-scenes videos of their favourite celebrities. BCL is India’s only multi-platform on- ground, TV, Digital, Social Celebrity Cricket League with 6 teams, 150+ television celebrities. MTV BCL Season 4 started airing from 29th April from Monday to Friday, 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm on MTV.
