  • Helo and SIIMA Partnership Logged a Record 655 Million Impressions

    NEW DELHI:
    Helo, India’s leading social media platform, recently announced its partnership with the South India International Movie Awards (SIIMA) to bring exclusive content from the event for its community of over 50 million users. Over 50% of Helo community joined the online campaign #SIIMAAwards2019 to create and share content, resulting into 655 million in-app impressions.

    The campaign, which was available to the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam speaking belts, has managed to engage over 50% of the user base these communities. The campaign was held to coincide with the 8th Edition of the SIIMA awards, which was held in Qatar, Doha on 15th and 16th August 2019.

    This partnership enabled fans to connect and engage, by bringing live updates for the fans on the app. Helo users could see red carpet moments, and exclusive celebrities video, such as their backstage interviews before the event.

    SIIMA is a revered and most viewed South Indian Film Awards Show. It is touted as an event that movie buffs across the world watch with great enthusiasm. The resounding success of its previous instalments created a stir in the entertainment industry, which were held in Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and Sharjah.

    “Our partnership with SIIMA is a reflection of our commitment to give Helo users access to popular and trending content in 14 Indian languages. Our users played a key role in the voting process to shortlist the most popular celebrity, who was honored during the awards night .Our in-app milestone of securing over 665 million impressions not only underscores the success of the association, but also the overall engagement of our users with the entertainment content on the app.” said Chhandita Nambiar, Head of Entertainment for Helo.

    Helo continues to partner with the India’s biggest entertainment properties to bring Helo users closer to their favourite stars by sharing event highlights, exciting live moments from the red carpet and exclusive backstage content.

    Helo is currently available in 14 Indian regional languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and more.
