HLL Opens HLL Pharmacy and Surgicals and HLL Opticals at Kannur

KANNUR:
HLL Pharmacy & Surgicals and HLL Opticals, a unique joint venture of HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL) and the Government of Kerala, opened its 11th centre in Kerala at the Kannur District Hospital today.
HLL Pharmacy & Surgicals and HLL Opticals were inaugurated by District Panchayat President Shri KV Sumesh.
HLL Pharmacy & Surgicals offers surgical implants and other medical products, like medicines, surgicals, disposables, stents and pacemakers at 10 to 40 per cent discounts. HLL Opticals also provides lenses and frames at 10 to 40 percent lower than market rates.
“Through HLL pharmacy & Surgicals and HLL Opticals, an innovating initiative in the health sector, HLL aims to deliver reliable, affordable and quality health solutions to the needy and the less privileged,” says HLL Chairman & Managing Director R P Khandelwal.
In addition to the subsidised services for the needy, the centre also provides cashless services to Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) cardholders.
Kannur District Panchayat Health Standing Committee Chairman Jayapalan Master and Kannur District Hospital Superintendent Dr Preetha also participated in the function.
The first centre of HLL Pharmacy & Surgicals started functionin
g at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College in October 2011.
