THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Kerala’s free software promotion agency ICFOSS has organised a function for the release and free installation of Linux Debian 10 Buster operating system at its campus in Karyavattom Sports Hub, here on July 6 at 3 pm. Sruthi Chandran, a member of the Debian development community, will be the chief guest at the function.
The release ceremony will be followed by a discussion on Debian system and launch of the campaign to promote it. Those turning up at the event with their laptops will be able to install the system free of cost. International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS) is an autonomous body set up by the Kerala Government to popularise free and open software and their universal use.
