  • IIM Lucknow and Emeritus Commence ‘Chief Executive Officer (Ceo) Programme’

By Media Team on November 11, 2025

    MUMBAI:

According to PwC’s 27th Annual Global CEO Survey (2024), 97% of CEOs worldwide have redesigned how they create and deliver value over the past five years, while 45% believe their current business model won’t remain viable beyond the next decade. As global business models evolve at an unprecedented pace, the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) ranked #5 in India (NIRF 2025) and among the top 100 B-schools globally (FT Masters in Management 2025 and FT Global MBA 2025) has announced the 5th batch of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Programme in collaboration with Emeritus, a global leader in executive education.

Designed for senior leaders, CXOs, business heads, and entrepreneurs, the 10-month live online programme enables participants to lead with agility, purpose, and innovation. It blends 100% live online lectures by IIM Lucknow faculty and industry experts, a capstone project, and a three-day on-campus immersion, providing experiential learning, peer networking, and leadership development.

Prof. Sabyasachi Sinha, Programme Director and Professor of Strategic Management at IIM Lucknow, said, “As the business landscape transforms, driven by technology and uncertainty, leaders must develop a cross-functional view that connects strategy, people, and innovation. This programme helps participants build those capabilities to create value and resilience in their organisations.”

Avnish Singhal, Executive Vice President, Head India & APAC, Emeritus, added, “The modern-day CEO needs far more than leadership skills they need strategic foresight, digital acumen, and resilience to lead through disruption. The IIM Lucknow CEO Programme equips senior leaders to translate vision into action and scale organisations with sustainable impact.”

The Chief Executive Officer Programme is built around four key pillars: Functional Excellence, Strategy & Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Leadership Development. Its curriculum includes modules such as Operations Strategy, Strategic Finance, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Platform Strategy and Ecosystem Play, and Global Leadership & Change Management. Participants will also complete a faculty-guided Capstone Project and engage in live discussions using real-world case studies from global organisations such as Amazon and Walmart.

As businesses evolve amid disruption and digital change, the fifth batch of the programme reflects growing demand for leaders who can combine strategic foresight with operational agility. The curriculum’s strong industry alignment ensures that participants develop capabilities that directly translate into business performance.
