IndianOil Rewards Rs.25 lacs to Padma Bhushan Pullela Gopichand

IndianOil’s ace sportsperson, Padma Bhushan Pullela Gopichand was rewarded with Rs. 25 lacs, in recognition of his stupendous feat as a Badminton Coach, in clinching a silver medal for the country in the Rio Olympics.
P. Gopichand joined IndianOil in 1993 in the officer’s cadre. Subsequently he has been promoted upto Senior Manager level during his playing and coaching tenure. IndianOil has also awarded a promotion to him in recognition of his Rio Olympics feat. Badminton Coach P.Gopichand, is now a Chief Manager at Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State Office, Marketing Division, IndianOil.
In the recently concluded Rio Olympics, P. Gopichand’s ward,  P. V. Sindhu won a silver medal, in Women’s singles.
