Today on International Women’s Day Thiruanvanthapuram Division organised functions at Thiruvananthapuram Central, Ernakulam Jn and Nagercoil Jn stations for women employees. At Thiruvananthapuram Central, two hundred women employees of different departments participated. The theme this year was #Press for Progress.

At Ernakulam Jn, International Women’s Day celebrated in the august presence of soumini Jain, Mayor of Kochi and M.D Valsamma Presenting Officer, Railway Claims Tribunal,.Various social activists and cine artists addressed the gathering of two hundred and twenty women employees. T.K.Lissy, Regional Director Central Board of workers education centre presented a motivational talk session for woman employees “to face the challenges with positive attitude”.
