A ‘Kerala Innovation Festival’ (KIF 2025) next week will herald a new initiative in India’s technological revolution by further igniting the imaginative capacities of nascent companies, as the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is organising the two-day event amid celebrations around its completion of a decade.
Slated for July 25 and 26, KIF-2025 at the KSUM campus in suburban Kalamassery aims to highlight the nodal agency’s eventful journey that has transformed the state from a budding ecosystem into a globally recognized model of inclusive and impact-driven innovations.
“Over the past ten years, KSUM has supported more than 6,500 startups and built one of the strongest grassroots entrepreneurship networks in India. Today, the agency, which is into entrepreneurship development and incubation activities, has emerged as a key driver of innovation in the country,” said KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika.
KIF-2025 will bring together 10,000-plus attendees, including founders, investors, students, policy leaders and creative minds. The event will feature more than 100 product showcases, cutting-edge tech demonstrations, and creative prototypes from across sectors.
The festival will feature special segments: a ‘She Leads Summit’ which highlights women innovators, SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) & Sustainability Tracks, and founders and creative summit, aligned with global development goals. Also to be held is a Fab Expo and Maker Fest, celebrating grassroots innovation and future tech, along with dedicated zones for youth innovation, design sprints and global partnerships.
KIF-2025 aims to go beyond startup showcases. It will serve as a launch-pad for policy dialogues, global collaborations and strategic innovation partnerships, positioning Kerala as a forward thinking leader in the global innovation ecosystem.
