THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
KIMSHEALTH has opened a top-class medical centre at Attingal today, with Adoor Prakash, MP, inaugurating the state-of-the-art treatment facility 30 km north of the capital city.
The medical centre with multiple specialty departments comes at a time when the state’s health sector is facing challenges and people are looking for better and safer healthcare facilities, Prakash said on the occasion.
“KIMSHEALTH coming to Attingal will change the way healthcare services are made available to the people here,” he noted. “They need more services and facilities of KIMSHEALTH amid the challenging times.”
KIMSHEALTH Group Chairman Dr M.I. Sahadulla said in his presidential address that the hospital group has been trying to bring affordable and quality healthcare to the people in the region through its medical centres that provide primary care along with homecare services. “More medical centres of international standards will be opened in the coming years across Kerala, thus making primary care available and avoiding the need to visit a hospital,” he informed.
The function was addressed by O.S. Ambika, MLA, Attingal Municipal Chairperson S. Kumari, Councilor V. Sudharma and Technopark Founder CEO G. Vijayaraghavan, former member of Kerala Planning Board.

The new medical centre’s medical departments will include internal medicine, pediatrics, ENT, dermatology, dental, gynecology, general surgery, dietetics and physical medicine.Further, it features a laboratory, pharmacy, physiotherapy, ECG, ultrasound scan and observation beds besides vaccination for adults as well as infants.
Also available are services such as nursing, laboratory, physiotherapy, ECG and treatment for the elderly besides home delivery of medicines. The medical centre offers 24-hour service in internal medicine, pharmacy and laboratory services.
