The ‘Let’s Talk’ series, organised by the Kochi Biennale Foundation as a prelude to the 6th edition of the Kochi Muziris Biennale, will take place in Ernakulam for two days, starting on March 26. The talk series will be held at the Utility Centre, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, at 10 AM. Nikhil Chopra, the curator of the 6th edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, will speak on the topic “Thinking Together: Friendship as Practice.” M. P. Nishad, a research scholar in visual culture and guest faculty in the Department of Visual Arts, will serve as the moderator.
On March 27, the ‘Let’s Talk’ series will continue at RLV College of Music and Fine Arts in Thrippunithura at 10 AM, focusing on the topic “Collaboration: Because Together is Better.” Curator Nikhil Chopra and Mario D’Souza, Director of Programs at the Kochi Biennale Foundation, will lead the conversation. Anudev Manoharan, an artist, scholar, and teaches painting at R.L.V. College of Music and Fine Arts, will moderate this session.
Later that same day, at 4:30 PM, another talk will be held at the Convention Centre of Kerala State Coir Corporation Ltd in Alappuzha. The topic will be “Alternative Spaces and the Possibility of Shared Practice,” featuring Nikhil Chopra and Mario D’Souza as speakers. Aswathy Gopalakrishnan, the Editorial Lead at Kochi Muziris Biennale, will moderate the discussion. The Kerala State Coir Corporation Ltd. is a collaborator for this event.
