Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has launched a pre-incubation programme to support early-stage startups or budding entrepreneurs with innovative ideas by facilitating mentoring by experts from technology, business and finance fields.
Named “Fail Fast or Succeed”, the programme was launched at the Integrated Startup Complex, Kalamassery, here on Saturday. It is meant for validating the ideas of the entrepreneurs and guide them on the market opportunity and scope for commercialization of their products.
Around 40 companies, including registered and non-registered ones participated. The firms were given mentoring on technology-based products, finance, business funding and statutory compliances. They will get mentoring and connections till the final product sails into the market.
The programme is suited for early stage startups in the ideation stage, problem identification stage, idea validation stage or prototype stage, and are unable to take their ideas to the next stage. They will be given guidance on the process to be followed or the best way to push their ideas to the implementation stage or in the implementation part.
KSUM is the nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
