KSUM and Singularity U- Trivandum to Organise Maiden AI, Robotics Meet

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), along with the Trivandrum chapter of Singularity University (SU), will organise the first edition of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics Vertical Meetup, which will bring together professionals in the domain to share ideas, collaborate and grow together.
The programme will be held on November 16 (Thursday) from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm at the Meetup Cafe, KSUM, Thejaswini Building, in the Technopark campus here. Professionals and hobbyists working in the field of AI and Robotics will conduct live demos of their products; these include self-driving cars; robots that draw pictures; and virtual assistants.
The Meetup will also feature talks by experts. Dr. Brijesh Madhavan will lead a session on “Capsule Network,” the next big stride in deep learning. Capsule Network is a twist on neural networks intended to make machines better able to understand the world through images or video.
Another interactive session by Niyas Mohammed will discuss a hypothetical scenario to help one understand how to get the most out of one’s data and what to do when one has very little of it. Singularity University is a global community of like-minded people using exponential technologies to tackle the world’s biggest challenges.
