

BENGALURU:
Tree Tag, a startup backed by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), will partner with People’s Planet and N.A. Haris Foundation initiative to plant one million tree saplings across Bangalore City.
Shanti Nagar MLA and Bangalore Development Authority Chairman N A Haris inaugurated the project at a function held at St Joseph’s University campus. Mohamed Wazeer, Co-Founder and Director of Tree Tag, was awarded the Best Tech Innovator award by N A Haris at the function.
Tree Tag is involved with the nurturing and monitoring of the tree saplings being planted as part of the project using advanced technology.
With the use of modern technology, the tree saplings can be maintained easily even by children. “Our aim is to attract tech-savvy children of today into conservation of nature and afforestation practices through our startup,” said Abhijith Kumar Meenakumari Co-Founder and Director of Tree Tag.
