Asif K. Yusuf said milk powder has huge demand in the Gulf countries and Milma hopes such a favourable market will help boost the sale of Day To Day dairy whitener.
Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, known by the brand Milma, had last year entered into an agreement with the Lulu Group International for the sale of its products in the Lulu Hypermarkets in the Middle East countries.
The agreement aims at tapping the demand for high quality dairy products, especially for dairy whitener, in the Middle East markets.
Various products of Milma including ghee, Premium Dark Chocolate, Golden Milk Chocolate, Golden Milkmix Powder, Instant Paneer Butter Masala, Palada Payasam Mix are already available in Lulu Hypermarkets.
The commissioning of the Dairy Whitener Plant at Moorkanad will ramp up the product diversification initiative of the cooperative dairy major by adding a key item to its bouquet of household staples.
