

KOCHI:
CSB Bank Limited has announced the receipt of approval of Reserve Bank of India today for the appointment of Madhavan Aravamuthan as the new Part-time Chairman of the Bank. The appointment is for a period starting from August 10, 2020 and up to June 28, 2022.
Aravamuthan is an Independent Director of the Bank since December 13, 2018. He is a seasoned banker having served the RBI for over 37 years in various banking areas and capacities. A post graduate in Economics from Madras University and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), Mr. Aravamuthan expertise include deep knowledge of IT Systems, Payment & Settlement Systems, Offsite surveillance of Banks. He was earlier on the Board of erstwhile Bank of Rajasthan as Additional Director appointed by RBI.
