Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) in association with South Indian Bank conducted Medium, Small and Micro Entrepreneurs Meet at Kinfra Park, Kalamassery.
Inaugurating MSME CEO Conclave South Indian Bank joint general manager Shelly Joseph said that the MSME’s play a key role in the economic development of our country. Banking sector which had given more focus for the corporates have now shifted to give more prominence to the MSME sector.
Now the banks have declared more benefits and service tor the retail sector. This will help in the growth of MSMEs along with economic development of our country, he said.
However, the lack of proper guidelines is causing hindrance for the growth of MSMEs. Several digital products are now available from MSMEs and it should be utilised properly, Shelly Joseph said.
XIME Dean Dr T V Francis presided over the function. Prof Dr Joseph Cherukara welcomed the gathering.
During the two-day Conclave management development programmes have been organised for the entrepreneurs. The Conclave will discuss on “How the business can be take to the next level’.
Classes and workshops will be led by experts in this field. MSMEs, partners, director and chief executive officers of various companies are participating in the event.
