Mezhukkattil Mills Bags ‘Best Food Processing Company’ Award

Mezhukkattil Mills becomes the very first recipient of the ‘Best Food Processing Company’ award in the maiden edition of ‘Made in Kerala Awards 2022’ by the Kerala State Council of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

Mezhukkattil Mills received the prestigious award for their exceptional export performance and innovation in the coconut industry. The awards were rewarded to the best performers in the state exhibiting high standards of excellence in various sectors including education, health and wellness, IT, tourism, food and agro sector, textiles, footwear and jewellery.

The award was received by Ubais Ali, Executive Director and Al Zamil M. K., Director of Mezhukkattil Mills at an event held at the Grand Hyatt Convention Centre. Key dignitaries at the event included Minister of Finance K N Balagopal, Minister for Industries Law & Coir P Rajeev, Justice, High Court of Kerala N. Nagaresh, Managing Director of Kochi Water Metro- Kochi Metro Rail Loknath Behera (IPS) and Principal Secretary, Industries A P M Mohammed Hanish IAS among others.

Mezhukkattil Mills exhibits a 45 year long legacy in the coconut extraction industry. It has a strong client base across cosmetics, hair care, pharmaceuticals, soap manufacturing and cooking oil businesses.
