KOCHI:
Siemens – a global powerhouse focusing on the areas of electrification, automation and digitization unveiled its first COE in Kerala, at Muthoot Institute Of Technology And Science ( MITS).
This venture, which is initiated by Department Of Electrical & Electronics here at MITS, is expected to demystify the unsolved ‘Academia-Industry’ gap. It has the potential to offer solutions to real life industrial problems and transform student knowledge level by offering certified courses in Basic PLC, HMI Networking , SCADA and AC and DC drives.
The MOU between the two is jointly signed by the chief guest of the day Sachin Bhanushali , Head -SITRAIN , Seimens India and P George Varghese, The Executive Director of MITS. K. Viswanath, Head – South Customer Service Siemens, Sebin Skaria Team leader – Service sales specialist of Siemens India,
principal Dr. S Ramkumar, Academic Advisor Dr. ACMathai, Dr. Anjali VargheseC -Head Of Department of EEE, Chikku Abraham, Associate Professor- EEE Dept, Jim George addressed the gathering.
