KOCHI:
CIPET is very important institution in the plastic sector and more such institutes will be opened in the country, said Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, New and Renewable Energy Bhagwant Khuba.
He said that in India, every year in the plastic sector, around one lakh trained developed manpower is required. Our premier institute CIPET has to see the potential and capacity to make admissions in diploma and graduation for the poor and needy people.
He was speaking after distributing certificates to teh students who have completed their studies through Naipunyam Project of LNG Foundation at CIPET, Kalamassery. As the dream of our PM Narendra Modi in this 7 year period, we have opened many new CIPET colleges in India.
Because this is the very potential sector. In every sector, we have to become Aathmanirbhar. It is the responsibility of the all Indians, particularly the institutions, industries and all. Then only we can become the Aathmanirbhar, he said.
While you are designing any product, you see the viability, cheap cost of production. We can pull and bring new products. But the cost effectiveness is not there. It would be industrial production. It would be fulfil the demand of the society. This CIPET has to focus the cost and design. Then only we can tackle the demand of the market, the minister said.
With a huge investment in CIPET, Kochi, in future days you have to become self-reliance. After training, i am sure that the placement will be 100%. You do better, you are doing better. I expect the dream of the PM come true Aathmanirbhar Bharat through CIPET, Kochi, he added.
