G Rajamanikam has emphasized on the need for Kerala implementation on the family doctor system adapted to advanced countries in the field of patient care.
He was speaking after inaugurating swearing in ceremony of the new office bearers of Cochin Branch Of Indian medical Association. The human body is not made up of doctors. Each patient and the disease is different. A family doctor is well aware of the patient and their inherited diseases. Therefore, specialists in foreign countries will treat patients only they are subscribed.
Dr Rajeev Jayadevan elected as the IMA Kochi president for the year 2019-20, Shalini Sudheendran as the secretary, Joby Abraham as the treasurer. All India Radio Program Executive Sreekumar Mukhathala delivered the key note address.
R.Nishanthini launched the social media platform journal of Clinical Practice (JCPIMA), initiated by the Cochin IMA at the event. In this platform,busy doctors can upload their conclusion and findings within one minute.This will be useful for the general public and for new doctors to learn more from the field scams of fake treatment
