The logo release of the 61st national conference ‘Pedicon-2024’ of Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), a national association of paediatricians, was held at IMA House, Kaloor by P. Rajeev State Minister of Law and Industries.
While releasing the logo, Minister P. Rajeev said that global warming and children’s health, which have been chosen as the theme of PEDICON-2024, are very relevant in this era. It is said that Kochi is one of the cities that may be drowned by the severity of global warming.
The function was presided over by Dr. Sachidananda Kammat, Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Dr. Narayanan, Secretary of the Organizing Committee explained about the logo. IAP President (Elect) Dr. O. Jose, IAP Cochin Secretary Dr. Rekha Zakaria, Treasurer Dr. M.I Junaid Rahman and others spoke. Dr. Sachidananda Kammat said that after 26 years, Kerala will again host the national conference of IAP. Kerala hosted the conference before this in 1998. More than 8000 paediatricians from national and international will participate in the conference and discuss various topics.
