  • Plainspeak Bags Agency of the Year Award at Pepper 2017

    KOCHI:
    Plainspeak was chosen as the Agency of the Year at the 11th Edition of Pepper Creative Awards 2017, the annual creative competition done by Pepper Creative Awards Trust. Agency of the Year award was accorded on the basis of maximum points received on all categories of the competition. Mathrubhumi won the Advertpepperiser of the Year award.
    The event known for its vibrancy and glamour quotient was inaugurated by Padmashri Piyush Pandey at Hotel Le Meridian today. Rajiv Rao, National Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather India and Prathap Suthan, Managing Partner/Chief Creative Officer, Bang In The Middle were also graced the occasion. Pepper 2017, the annual creative awards competition, opened for agencies from all over South India, received overwhelming response with over 600 entries from 70 agencies vying for the honours in 100
    competition categories. The awards were presented at a glittering function which includes various artists.
    K S Chakravarthy (Chax), Chairman & CCO, Tidal 7 Brand & Digital; Prathap Suthan,
    Managing Partner/Chief Creative Officer, Bang In The Middle and Santosh Padhi, Chief Creative Officer and Co-founder, Taproot Dentsu were the members of the jury for Pepper 2017.
    ‘Pepper is currently one of the most respected creative competitions in the Indian advertising industry. Our endeavor is to make the creative award competition of the Cochin Ad Club as a globally benchmarked premium event every year. We hope the legend of Pepper and the creative spirit of the present would jell well to create a niche for Cochin in the global creative space’ said K Venugopal, Chairman of the Pepper

    Awards Trust. He is also accorded welcome at the function and Lakshman Varma, Secretary, Pepper Creative Awards Trust proposed the vote of thanks.
    The other trustees U.S.Kutty, T Vinaykumar, P.K. Natesh, R. Madhava Menon, Sandeep Nayar & T.Sudeep Kumar were also participated in this grand event.
