KOCHI:
The Prof. M.V Pylee Award given by Cochin University of Science and Technology to the Distinguished Academician of India – 2019 will be presented to Dr. P. B Sunil Kumar, Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad, on Sept 4 th .
The event will be held at the CUSAT Seminar Complex at 2 pm on the day. The award will be presented by Vice Chancellor Dr. K. N. Madhusoodanan. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. P. G. Sankaran, Prof. P.R. Poduval, Dr. Meera Registrar, C-SIS Director Prof. M. Bhasi, Prof. Kuncheria P. Isaac, winner of Prof. M.V. Pylee Award 2017, Prof. R.Sasidharan, Dr. Poornima Narayan, Prof. S.Harikumar, members of the award committee and Dr. Benjamin Varghese, Controller of Examinations
will participate in the function. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a citation. The event will be held in full compliance with Covid-19 protocol.
