Rajagiri Management Conference Concludes

KOCHI:
The sixth Rajagiri Management Conference was held at Rajagiri Business School, Kakkanad, jointly organized by the Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies and Maribor University, Slovenia. The two-day conference was inaugurated by Krishnaprasad, Strategic Advisor at Saint Gobain. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of building resilience in daily business processes. He noted that businesses should learn to coexist with challenges and move forward instead of “rolling backward.”

The event was presided over by Fr. Benny Nalkara CMI, Provincial, Sacred Heart Province, Kochi, and Manager, Rajagiri Institutions. He stressed the need for continuous innovation and timely changes in management education.

Speakers at the event included Dr. Kishore Gopalakrishna Pillai, Director of Rajagiri Business School; Rev. Dr. Francis Sebastian CMI, Assistant Director; Dr. Ayna Johnny, RMC Coordinator; Professor Markus Blut from Durham University; and Dr. Igor Vrecko from Maribor University.

The conference featured research paper presentations by scholars from India and abroad, covering topics such as Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, General Management, Business Analytics, and Operations. Additionally, workshops on Panel Regression and Experimental Design, Doctoral Colloquium, and panel discussions were organized as part of the event.

The Doctoral Colloquium was led by Professor Mathew Pepper, Professor Sajeev A. George, and Professor Bhasi Marath. The General Management Panel Discussion included Dr. Krishnan Chandramohan, Vinay Balakrishnan, Siddharth A.K., and Dr. K.P. Sudheer, moderated by Dr. Shubhadarshini Khatua.
