RICS SBE Mumbai has announced that its postgraduate programme – MBA in Construction Project Management has recently been accredited by the PMI-GAC. This is the second RICS SBE campus, to bag the coveted accreditation for MBA CPM; Noida campus having been awarded the same honour earlier.
The MBA in CPM programme offered at RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University, Mumbai, earlier underwent a rigorous two-year long accreditation assessment process by the Project Management Institute (PMI) – Global Accreditation Centre (GAC) for Project Management Education Programs, USA.
PMI-GAC is an independent academic accreditation body with policies, procedures, and standards for project, program, portfolio management and related programs at the bachelor’s, post graduate and doctoral degree levels. The GAC evaluated RICS SBE’s postgraduate program on various accreditation standards such as curricula, its Core Areas of Focus for Program Learning Outcomes, industry requirements being met, academic staff quality, students’ experience, financial resources and program
improvements amongst others and granted the letter of accreditation to the MBA CPM program at RICS SBE, Mumbai on July 28 th 2020.

It may be noted that MBA-CPM program is also accredited by RICS, again a first of its kind in India. Accreditation by both these prestigious professional bodies means world class academic experience for the students as well as enhance the employability of the graduates.
