Saavishkar-2017- Exhibition at Rajagiri School of Engineering Concluded

Rajagiri School of Engineering & technology (RSET), Kakkanad, Kochi, is a premier educational institution offering excellence in engineering education and research since 2001. “Saavishkar 2017”, The biggest inter-school project exhibition, hosted by Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET) on November 29, 2017, was an open day for high school and secondary school students to showcase their talents and technical innovations.
Saavishkar 2017 is modeled to nurture the science and technology aptitude of young generation and thereby to motivate them to extend their thoughts for the socio-economic development of our country. Saavishkar also intends to promote the engineering aptitude in the young minds, wherein RSET can provide excellent pointers for all streams of engineering which may help the students to choose their career accordingly.
Saavishkar 2017 coordinated by RSET was an exhibition intended for school students to explore their creativity in Science and Mathematics. Saavishkar 2017 presented competition platforms in different aspects like working models, still models and Mathematics puzzles. The one day programme also helped the students with an opportunity to explore the different fields of engineering and technology through departmental exhibitions and interactions. The students welcomed Saavishkar 2017 with a variety of technical innovations including schemes to produce waste inverter, smart city, floor mop , bascule bridge and much more.
Over 650 teams and 2000 participants from all the districts in Kerala were part of the extravagant event. Cash prize worth 2 Lakhs rupees was given away as prizes. The Saavishkar trophy to the best school was given away in a grand concluding ceremony.
