  • Saint-Gobain India Unveils its First Exclusive ‘My Home’ Brand Store in Kochi

By NE Reporter on April 20, 2021

    KOCHI:
Saint-Gobain, a worldwide leader in sustainable building materials, is renowned for the quality of its products. With homes becoming central to our existence, Saint-Gobain has ventured into offering end-to-end solutions made from its various products – Shower Cubicles, Windows, Kitchen Shutters, Wardrobe Shutters, LED Mirrors, Glass Writing Boards, Gyproc Ceilings, Drywalls, Tiling & Grouting Solutions, Gypsum Plaster, CertainTeed Roofing Shingles, and Novelio Wall Coverings. Saint-Gobain offers its customers support from design to installation.

The MyHome store houses all these solutions for homes under one roof. The store enables customers to experience these solutions and customise them to suit their requirements. The store is equipped with a design and consultation centre offering prospective home builders an opportunity to select the solutions that meet their requirements the most. M/s Varna Glass & Plywood is the partner for this store.

Kerala is witnessing a real-estate boom and the discerning home builders in the state are eager to adopt solutions that enhance well-being. It is estimated that the average spend on a home in Kerala is going up due to the emerging needs of comfort, hygiene, and wellbeing. With this in mind, Saint-Gobain has recently launched a slew of new products and solutions.

One of the solutions recently launched is the luxurious Shower Cubicle. Bathrooms are assuming greater importance within homes. It is estimated that an average adult spends 30-60 minutes every day in the bathroom which translates to 3-4 years of his / her lifetime. Indians are also fond of showering and an average Indian adult takes at least one shower per day, much ahead of the other parts of the world. Thus, the bathing space is gaining particular significance in home design & décor. Saint-Gobain has invested significantly in creating awareness about this product through a widely successful mass media campaign covering TV, Print, OTT, and OOH during the months of March and April. The campaign is being currently run in the state of Kerala. This campaign is being complemented through an extensive digital campaign.

Hemant Khurana, Executive Director, Saint-Gobain India, said “It gives me immense pleasure to launch the Saint-Gobain MyHome store in Kochi. The store shows our commitment to an important market like Kerala. The store provides a unique opportunity for homeowners to experience our solutions under one roof and benefit from our capabilities to provide customised offerings end-to-end. We are quite excited by the transformation taking place in Indian homes and the home interior / improvement space. Kerala, in particular, has always led the trends in home design and construction. There could not be a better time to unveil this store. We want to offer our customers a Phygital (Physical + Digital) experience through a combination of the MyHome store and the popular MyHome website.”

Srihari K, Business Head, Saint-Gobain India, said “We are excited to open our exclusive MyHome store in Kochi. We have had an incredible response from the customers and the industry to our solutions. Our focus is on delivering wellbeing to the end consumers and this inauguration is an important milestone in our journey. We have developed several innovative solutions. For example, our luxury Shower Cubicles come with completely customisable solutions that can be deployed for a bathroom of any size and shape. The fulfilment process is digitalized end-to-end from measurement to manufacturing to installation. Customers can get a first-hand experience of the cubicle in several outlets across Kerala including the MyHome brand store.”

Maqbool, Director, Varna Glass & Plywood, said “I am delighted to partner Saint-Gobain in establishing the MyHome store. Saint-Gobain is a trusted brand and a leading player in several building materials. As a long-term partner of Saint-Gobain, I see this as an important step in offering solutions to the home builders and designers in Kerala. This store reaffirms our commitment to continue to serve our esteemed customers with world- class products and solutions that deliver wellbeing in homes. This store will help our customers make informed decisions while constructing or renovating their homes. We look forward to welcoming customers not only from the city of Kochi but also from other parts of Kerala.”
