Every ambitious student dreams of a successful career. For nine students of V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) that dream has come one step closer to reality as they have been recognised for excelling in their professional internship.
Meurel Viegas, Kimberly Mendes, Abdul Shaikh and Eliana Simonelle Fernandes are interning at the prestigious JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai. Similarly, Fagun Barrot and Jacky Jha were selected for a six months professional internship at the Taj Coral Reef Resort and Spa in Maldives; Saloni Bhandurga at Courtyard by The Marriott in Pune; Krishang Agarwal at The Oberoi and Aradhana Pereira is employed as an intern at the Radisson Blu in Goa.
All nine students have one thing in common – they have been recognised for their exemplary efforts while on duty. The students have received awards for their outstanding performance in each of the departments where they have been placed.
