As part of Nationwide Swachhta Abhiyan – 2017 massive clean up activities are being planned in Cochin Port Trust during 15 th September to 02 nd October, 2017. A special drive has been planned for cleaning of work places, office buildings, wharves and selected roads/public spaces in the Port area by the employees of different departments of the Port. Besides, a special drive for weeding out old records, disposal of scrap, renovation of toilets, painting of building, beautification of gardens and pathways etc., and awareness programme among the residents and offices of the trade in Willingdon Island will also be carried out during the period for which an action plan has been chalked out.
