Kochi: The Kerala police team which is investigating Perumbavoor Jisha Murder Case has not made much headway since the arrest of prime suspect Ameer-ul Islam and the recovery of a knife which the police term as the ‘ weapon’.
Police find it difficult to build a strong case against Ameer as there are more missing links yet to be connected.
Involvement of one more person suspected in Jisha murder
Kochi: The Perumbavoor Jisha murder case is getting murkier day by day as the police now suspect the role of a second culprit in the criminal act.
The police got the crucial clue about the second person from the prime suspect Ameer-ul Islam. Among the finger prints collected from the crime spot, two of them do not match with that of Ameer.

Perumbavoor: Ameer-ul – Islam, the suspect in the Jisha murder case, has been booked on charges of subjecting a goat to his sexual perversion.
The police have filed an FIR under section 377 which invokes life imprisonment.
Court Remands Jisha murder accused to police custody
Perumbavoor: Ameer Ul Islam, the key accused in Jisha murder case, was remanded to police custody for ten days by a local court on Tuesday.
Police sought Ameer’s custody for detailed questioning, identification parade and evidence collection.
