  • Technocity Will Start Functioning at Kalamassery from December 23

    KOCHI:
    Technocity, the venture of Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA) and Piravom Techno Lodge, will start functioning at Kalamassery from December 23, 2019, onwards. The facilities at Technocity will be offered to startup companies in IT and related sectors.

    Those who wish to start a company in the IT sector is facing the greatest challenge of huge investment for infrastructure. Entrepreneurs at the Techncocity will be provided at high speed internet connectivity, uninterrupted power, UPS, generator, reception, front office, meeting room, discussion room and separate cabins with aircondition. The entrepreneurs at the Technocity will have the support of Kerala IT Mission and KSIDC.

    Technology Clinic
    Technocity will provide service of experienced mentors to help the entrepreneurs, who are coming up with ideas. Technology Clinic will also have the facility to have interaction with renowned industrialists apart from the mentors.

    Investment Cafe
    Investment Cafe helps the entrepreneurs to find out the working capital by connecting with the investors. Pitching sessions will be held to attract investment from angel fund platforms like Creative Angels, Malabar Angels and Mumbai Angels. There will also be facility for the local investors to invest in the Startup companies.

    Technocium Evening Events
    Evening events, Technocium, will be conducted every month enabling entrepreneurs to find out new investors and updating with the latest technologies. Experts in this field and those who made success in these fields will attend the programme.

    E P Jayarajan, Minister of Industries, Commerce, Sports and Youth Affairs will inaugurate the KSSIA Technocity – Startup Incubation Centre, on December 23. V K C Mammed Koya, MLA and past president KSSIA, M Sivasankar, IT Secretary and Sanjay Garg, principal secretary, Industries will participate.

    Startup Product Showcasing
    As part of the inauguration an exhibition of IT services and products of Startups will also be held. This will help Startups to directly provide information about the benefits to Small Industry sector and having a direct contact with them.
