THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
In view of Sabarimala Mandala-Makaravilakku festival, the following trains are provided temporary stoppage at Chengannur station for the convenience of pilgrim passengers.
1.Train No.12698 Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Weekly Superfast Express will stop at Chengannur for Two minutes from 24.11.2018 to 19.01.2019.
(Chengannur Arrival/Departure: 22.23 hrs / 22.25 hrs)
2. Train No.12697 Chennai – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express will stop at Chengannur for Two minutes from 25.11.2018 to 20.01.2019.
(Chengannur Arrival/Departure: 03.48 hrs/03.50 hrs)
3. Train No.22653 Thiruvananthapuram – Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast Express will stop at Chengannur for Two minutes from 24.11.2018 to 19.01.2019.
(Chengannur Arrival/Departure: 02.28 hrs / 02.30 hrs)
4. Train No.22654 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express will stop at Chengannur for Two minutes from 26.11.2018 to 21.01.2019.
(Chengannur Arrival/Departure: 11.18 hrs / 11.20 hrs)
Regulation of Train Services Due to Modification Works at Cherthala
Following train services will be regulated due to traffic/power block for the scheduled electrical traction supply modification works in Cherthala – Mararikulam section between 24th and 26th November 2018.
1. Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express will be regulated for 1 hour 30 minutes in Alappuzha – Mararikulam section on 24th, 25th and 26th November 2018.
2. Train No.16603 Mangalore – Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express will be regulated for 45 minutes at Cherthala on 24th, 25th and 26th November 2018.
3. Train No.22207 Chennai – Thiruvananthapuram AC Superfast Weekly Express will be regulated for 45 minutes at Cherthala on 24th November 2018.
Change in Pattern of Train Services
In connection with construction works at Thiruvarur Jn. (Tiruchchirappalli division) on 28th November 2018, following are the change in pattern of train services.
1. Train No.16188 Ernakulam – Karaikal Express leaving Ernakulam Jn at 21.45 hrs on 27th November 2018, will be partially cancelled between Tiruchchirapalli Jn – Karaikal and short terminated at Tiruchchiarapalli Jn. (28th November 2018).
2. Train No.16187 Karaikal – Ernakulam Express scheduled to leave Karaikal at 16.15 hrs on 28th November 2018, will be partially cancelled between Karaikal – Tiruchchirapalli Jn. Hence the train will start its journey from Tiruchchiarapalli Jn. at 20.00 hrs.
Change in Coach Composition
The coach composition of 22633/22634 Thiruvananthapuram – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express trains will be permanently revised as detailed below.
Existing composition: First Class AC – 1, AC 2-tier – 2, AC 3-tier – 4, Second Class Sleeper – 6, Second Class General – 4 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Revised composition: AC 2-tier – 3, AC 3-tier – 4, Second Class Sleeper – 7, Second Class General – 4 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Train No.22633 Thiruvananthapuram – Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Superfast Express train will run with the revised composition from 21.11.2018 (Wednesday).
Train No.22634 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express train will run with the revised composition from 23.11.2018 (Friday).
