Eminent television and digital journalists will stamp their presence at Kerala’s two-day Global Digital Summit, #FUTURE, by moderating various sessions and panel discussions, bringing salience to the two-day path-breaking event that commences in Kochi on Thursday (March 22).
The impressive line-up of moderators includes senior journalists Sagarika Ghose, Consulting Editor, Times of India; Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC-TV-18, Zakka Jacob, Deputy Executive Editor, CNN News-18; Swati Khandelwal, National Editor & Anchor, BTVI (Bloomberg TV); Nandagopal Rajan, Editor (New Media), The Indian Express; and Darlington Hector, Managing Editor, Yourstory. Besides being established writers and presenters in print and broadcast media, each one of them is a major presence and has an impressive following in social media, which will help enhance the brand value of the event to be held in Hotel Le Meridien.
Prominent speakers at the two-day big ticket event include Raghuram Rajan, former RBI governor and Professor, Finance, University of Chicago; Nandan Nilekani, Non-Executive Chairman; Infosys; R Chandrashekar, President, NASSCOM; and Arun Kumar, Chairman and CEO, KPMG India. The event will start with a session on “The digital future of travel and transportation,” moderated by Swati Khandelwal, who anchors BTVI’s flagship weekly programme on automobiles -“The Auto Show.”
The session on “Data: Oil of the future” will be moderated by Nandagopal Rajan, a prolific contributor and editor on technology topics, while eminent TV anchor Zakka Jacob will steer the debate on “ the digital future of health and sustainability.”
The second day’s proceedings will start with a session on “The digital future of education &skills.” Helmed by Byju Raveendran, Founder and CEO of Byju’s, the segment will be moderated by Darlington Hector of Your Story, India’s leading platform for start-ups and entrepreneurs.
Sagarika Ghose, known for her widely-read column and television anchoring, will moderate the session on “Technology disruption and inclusion”, and the panelists in this session include S D Shibulal, Chairman, High Power IT Committee (HPIC), Govt. of Kerala. The business sessions of the event will conclude with a panel discussion on “The digital future of banking: finance and retail”, to be moderated by Shereen Bhan.
