  • Track Doubling Work at Ambalappuzha: Trains to be Regulated from Monday

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    Southern railway is taking up yard remodeling work at Ambalappuzha station as a part of track doubling. Train services in the region will be regulated on 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd December 2016 (Monday to Thursday, Four days) in connection with the work as under.

    Full cancellation
    Tr. No. 56377, Alappuzha-Kayamkulam passenger Leaving Alappuzha at 7.05 am will remain fully cancelled on 21st and 22nd December 2016 (Wednesday and Thursday only)

    Partial cancellation
    Tr. No. 56381-Ernakulam-Kayamkulam Passenger Leaving Ernakulam at 10 am will be partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Kayamkulam on all the four days.
    Tr. No. 56382, Kayamkulam –Ernakulam Passenger leaving Kayamkulam at 1 pm will be partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Kayamkulam on all the four days. This train will be further delayed by 70 minutes from Alappuzha on 19th December 2016 (Monday only)
    Tr. No. 56380, Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger leaving Kayamkulam at 8.30 am will be partially cancelled between Alappuzha and Kayamkulam on 20th , 21st , and 22nd December 2016. On 22nd December 2016 alone The train will further delayed by 30 min from Alappuzha.
    Tr. No. 66302, Kollam-Ernakulam Passenger leaving Kollam at 8.50 am will remain partially cancelled between Kaymkulam and Ernakulam station on 20th , 21st , and 22nd December 2016.

    Re Scheduling
    Tr. No. 12217, Kochuveli-Chandigarh Express will have a delayed start by 75 minutes at 10.35 am from Kochuveli on Monday, the 19th December 2016.
    Tr. No. 12483, Kochuveli- Amritsar Express will have a delayed start by 75 minutes at 10.35 am from Kochuveli and train will be further detained by 30 minutes at Harippad on 21st December
    2016(Wednesday).

    Detention
    Train No. 16346, Thiruvananthapuram-Lokmanya Tilak Netravati express will be detained at Harippad station for 30 minutes to 1 hour on all Four days.
    Tr. No. 12484 Amritsar-Kochuveli express and Train No. 19577, Tirunelveli-Hapa Express will be detained at Harippad/Ambalappuzha for 15 to 45 minutes.
