THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
UST Global has made a strategic investment in MyDoc, a Singapore-based Digital Health Platform company, to expand its digital offerings in Healthcare, focusing on Asian and European markets.
The investment will fund MyDoc’s ongoing initiative to drive population-wide digital health programmes, including disease management and health data tracking. This aligns well with MyDoc’s Asia-wide drive to introduce new digital services to communities with healthcare being a key pillar in all markets.
Krishna Sudheendra, CFO, UST Global, said, “We are quite excited with this partnership. MyDoc will complement our suite of digital offerings and we strongly believe that this investment and partnership with MyDoc will create significant value to our customers in their digital transformation journey. UST, with its global presence, vast customer base and domain expertise in Healthcare space, will be an ideal partner for MyDoc, to expand MyDoc’s reach to global Fortune 500 customers and governments across Asia. In addition, UST’s Human-Centric Design, AI and Cloud capabilities would power the MyDoc platform to further expand its product offerings rapidly”.
MyDoc’s Digital Platform integrates different healthcare ecosystem players and enables users to access a network of healthcare services, including doctor consultations, online prescriptions, and long-term disease management programs. Users can select, compare, and book health checks and consultations with specialists, diagnostic centers, and hospitals. They can also order medicines, as well as access their health insurance portfolio. Their current client list includes Asia’s largest insurers like AIA, AXA and Aetna, large corporate clients, providers like Guardian Pharmacy and government partners like the Health Promotion Board of Singapore.
Snehal Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of MyDoc, said, “We could not be happier about this partnership with UST Global. In healthtech, access to critical ecosystem partners plays a crucial role in successful roll outs, especially with large scale roll-outs across hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions. Besides providing the financial backing, UST Global is also a key strategic ally to help us expand our focus on Smart Nation initiatives in Singapore and replicate that success across Asia. Their technology capabilities as well as their global customer relationships will be extremely beneficial for MyDoc in our next phase of development and growth. In addition, through our discussions we feel that we have found a partner whose vision around healthcare and technology aligns very strongly with our own.”
