Vallarpadam Flyover to be Completed by December

KOCHI:
The construction of flyover at Vallarpadam taken up by Cochin Port Trust for easing the traffic congestion on the road leading to ICTT is nearing completion and will be ready for traffic by mid-December 2016.
Once completed, the vehicular traffic from Vypeen to Ernakulam and back would be diverted through the flyover and the container trailers moving from and to the ICTT and container freight stations nearby would be passing through road below the flyover ending the traffic congestion.

Traffic Diversion

In order to complete the work in connection with the approach from Vypeen side of the flyover and GIDA bridge No.3, the following traffic diversion is proposed from 10 th November, 2016. Vehicles coming out from ICTT should take right turn to enter the national highway and no left-turn will be permitted here for trailers and trucks.
General public are requested to cooperate with the inconveniences that may be caused for a short period due to the above traffic diversion.
