India’s leading PU footwear manufacturer VKC Pride has been awarded as the Best Footwear Brand, instituted by a leading national media group. VKC Group Chairman VKC Mammad Koya received the award from Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at a function held in Ernakulam.
VKC is at the forefront of introducing innovative ideas and technology in the footwear industry to bring the best products to the common man at honest prices. Commenting on the achievement, VKC Group Managing Director VKC Razak said: “This honour is a recognition of the various initiatives undertaken by VKC to empower small traders across India, besides providing the best quality and innovative footwear products to consumers”.
VKC is spearheading a campaign themed ‘Shop Local’ to energise local economies by encouraging customers to purchase from local shops to support dealers and neighbourhood traders who are facing competition from e-commerce ventures. The first edition of ShopLocal campaign was a huge success and now VKC has launched the second phase of the campaign aimed at bringing more customers closer to neighbourhood shops and thereby supporting small traders.
