‘Neermizhipeelikal’, a short film produced by Dr. A V Anoop of AVA Productions and co-produced by his Brother-in-law Pradeep Cholayil today set a record of producing the first Malayalam short film with all actors from a single family.
The short film is based on drug abuse amongst students and was previewed at Prasad Preview Theatre, Saligramam, Chennai. This record falls under the sub-category Film, Theatre & Entertainment of Media & Entertainment category with Asia Book of Records with the criteria that the film must be a short film with all the actors from a single family.
Dr. A V Anoop and his Daughter Pratheeksha Anoop have played pivotal roles in the film along with other members of their family. Asia Book of Records is affiliated to World Record University and follows International Protocol of Records (IPRs) as per the consensus arrived at the meeting of the Chief Editors of National Record Books, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The claimant ‘AVA Productions’ will be eligible to enter in Asia Book of Records subject to successful attempt as per the guidelines and criteria given by Asia Book of Records.
As a part of the 50th year celebration Medimix family is contributing message through this short film. Dr. A V Anoop who has worked predominantly in Malayalam movie industry is a dedicated stage artist himself and a strong proponent of theatre. Speaking during the occasion Dr. A.V.
