  • Renowned Architect Capt. K. V Mathew Launches Real Estate Consulting Firm ‘Mathew & Sons’

By NE Reporter on June 15, 2020

    PATHANAMTHITTA:
Renowned architect Capt. K.V. Mathew announces the launch of his own Real Estate Consulting firm ‘Mathew & Sons’, which would be based out of Pathanamthitta. Capt. Mathew is a retired army engineer who has been in to real estate consulting for more than 45 years, designing and implementing some of the marque projects for the government of India and for private as well as individual householders. Capt. Mathew has entered in to the real estate consulting business post his retirement from the Indian Army’s Military Engineering Services (MES) 20 years back.

Capt. Mathew he has been a designer, advisor and supervisor for some of the landmark projects in the district and its nearby areas. Some of his land mark projects in the district are the Malankara Catholic Bishops House Pathanamthitta where he was the project advisor and supervisor. Today this has become one of the prominent landmarks and marvels of architecture in the district. Arya Bharati Vidyamandir in Omalloor is another example where he has played the advisory role.

While launching the firm Capt. Mathew- Projects In charge Said, “Mathew & Sons will provide services in the area of ‘Design, Develop and Deliver’ projects as per our customers’ requirements. We are a complete solution provider for all the customers- residential, commercial and other real estate requirements. Our cutting edge technology and best in class design will make sure that we are able to deliver Quality at an affordable price. Our project designs are environment friendly; it does not disturb the beauty and tranquility of the nature. We have a direct procurement mechanism which enables people access quality products at reasonable price avoiding middle men and commission agents”.

We foresee a surge in demand for affordable housing in Kerala in the coming years, Say’s Sunil Mathew, Head of Operations. Also we expect the demand for commercial and co-working spaces to gain traction in the state as well.

He further explained, while there has been a fall in demand for luxury housing in the state from 15 – 20 % in the last 16 months due to job crisis in the Gulf region. And the same has been worsened by the recent Covid-19 crisis as well; therefore people’s choice of housing has been shifted from Luxury to more of budget or affordable in the state for the next few years. Therefore we believe that going forward the demand for budget houses in the state to grow by 25-30% by 2023.

However there is a vacuum of demand for housing has been generated in the last couple of years which could not be fulfilled due to various social issues. Therefore moving forward there would be a surge in demand for commercial as well as business spaces considering people’s dependability on such spaces and establishments towards earning their livelihood.
