CUSAT: International Women’s Day Celebrated

KOCHI:
Cochin University Women’s Welfare Organization (CUWWO), Cochin University of Science and Technology on Tuesday Celebrated International Women’s Day. The event was organized under the theme ‘Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow’. Dr. K. N. Madhusoodanan, Vice Chancellor inaugurated the function.

Dr. Meera V., Registrar presided over the function and Kalamandalam Sugandhi, renowned Mohiniyattam dancer, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Nidhi Sosa Kurian, Solo Traveller and Creative Content Writer, delivered the keynote address. Theatre artist Ratheesh V.T’s Solo play ‘Amma’ was performed. Cultural events by University Officials Minna Merlin Stanlin, Sheena Mathew, and Jisha B. were also staged. An exhibition showcasing the creative talents of woman employees at CUSAT was also held at the Administration Office.
