CUSAT Women’s Studies Centre to Organise two day National Webinar

KOCHI:
The Women’s Studies Centre, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), propose to conduct two day National Webinar titled “Gendered Leadership Across the Spectrum” on 12th and 13th March, 2021 under the general theme of Women in Leadership in connection with the International Women’s Day, 2021.

The webinar will be inaugurated by Dr. C. Meenakshi IFS, Conservator of Forests, Ernakulam Circle and will be presided over by Dr. P. G. Sankaran, Pro-Vice Chancellor, CUSAT. Mini Sukumar, Activist and Assistant Professor at Department of Women’s Studies, Calicut University, and General Secretary of Indian Association for Women’s Studies, will deliver the keynote address.

Other sessions in the webinar will be led by activists and academic experts including Prof. Pam Rajput, International expert and the Founding Director of Centre for Women’s Studies and Development, Panjab University, Ms.Viji, activist and founder of the ‘Penkoottu’ working women’s collective, Syama S. Prabha., LGBTIQ rights activist and Project Officer with the Kerala State Transgender Cell, and Dr.Sarita G. Bhat, Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, CUSAT.
