Goa Institute of Management will be hosting its popular corporate quiz GIM WIZBIZ later this week, on 7th March, 2021. In its 21st year since its inception two decades ago, GIM WIZBIZ will be held online this year with the maverick quizmaster Avinash Mudaliar hosting the B- school’s flagship student-led event.
With each year the stakes have gone higher. The winners of the pre-events e-WIZBIZ (online), WIZBIZ Weekly (online) and the winners of the main event GIM WIZBIZ take home prizes worthINR 2.5 lakhs.
MECCA- The Marketing Club of Goa Institute of Management, organizes GIM WIZBIZ, the national level corporate quiz competition each year. over time it has grown to be among the biggest corporate quizzes organised by a B-School in the country.
GIM WIZBIZ annually brings together members of the corporate world from various sectors across the country for an evening of fierce intellectual competition. It also provides the audience with an evening high on learning and enjoyment. this year will be no different.
Quizmaster Avinash Mudaliar, one of the most reputed in the quizzing world and a well accomplished quizzer himself will anchor the show. Mudaliar was the Chief Product Officer at Network 18 Digital and had stints across multiple media companies over the years. He has conducted over 1500 quizzes in the last 25 years and has been associated with GIM WIZBIZ for the last 17 years.
Since its inception in 2000, GIM WIZBIZ has been supported by the corporate industry. This has continued at GIM WIZBIZ 2021 where we NGC, IFFCO, TVS, Bisleri, and Corporation Bank are amongst 50 other generous supporters.
A large number of participants from corporate houses such as Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys, Pepsi, Pidilite, Cognizant, Vedanta, Canara Bank, Tata Motors as well as winners of Tata Crucible and Brand Equity will be participating. The previous edition, GIM WIZBIZ 2020 was won by B Naveen Kumar of Sai Mitra Constructions and Mr Jayakanthan R of TCS.
